Acetaminophen toxicosis in cats causes methemoglobinuria (brown urine) and methemoglobinemia (brown blood). Oxidative damage to RBCs also causes Heinz body (scroll down) anemia.

This toxicosis is more frequent in cats than dogs. Cats are deficient in glucuronyl transferase, so they have a limited ability to metabolize acetaminophen and aspirin.
