Ollulanus tricuspis infection in cats causes vomiting. While it infects several species, but is mostly seen in cats.

Usually the cats vomit a few minutes to hours after eating, due to a mild erosive gastritis.

The worms are usually digested before being passed in feces.

Check vomitus or stomach contents for larvae (~500 μm) or adult worms.

A Baermann apparatus can help to separate worms and larvae from stomach contents so that they are easier to see.
