Veterinarians

Next Renewal Date: October 15, 2027

Renewal Frequency: Every 2 years (October 15 of odd-numbered years)

Total Required CE: 40 hours

Allowed Online: All required CE hours may be completed online through approved providers, including ZukuCE. Indiana accepts CE regardless of delivery method or ability to interact with the presenter.

Interactive Required: 0 credits

Record Retention: Maintain CE documentation for 3 years after the end of the renewal period.

Audit Information: Licensees certify completion of CE during renewal and must provide documentation if audited by the Board. CE completed to correct an audit deficiency may not be carried over to the next renewal period.

Additional Information: Veterinarians are exempt from CE for their first renewal after initial licensure. CE hours must be earned during the current biennial renewal period and may not be carried over to the next renewal cycle.

Renewal Frequency: Every 2 years (January 1 of even-numbered years)
