A ten-year-old female spayed domestic longhair cat is presented with an acute onset of vomiting, lethargy, and anorexia.
On examination, she appears dehydrated and depressed with uremic odor to her breath. Abdominal palpation reveals an enlarged, painful right kidney and a small, irregular left kidney. Thoracic auscultation and the remainder of the examination is unremarkable.
